Disclaimer about coming to Kharkiv

This website was originally started in 2019 to serve as a guide for all those who were interested in visiting Kharkiv. However, since then there has been a) a global pandemic, and b) a war. Therefore, this site has been repurposed to show News, Jobs for local residents, and to spread information about what’s going on.

At this time, the following governments issue these recommendations for travel to Ukraine in general (which includes Kharkiv):

• US Department of State: Level 4: Do Not Travel
• UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office: Advises against all but essential travel to parts of Ukraine (NOT KHARKIV)
• Government of Canada: Avoid all travel to Ukraine
• Government of Australia: Do not travel to Ukraine
• Government of Ireland’s Department of Foreign Affairs: Strongly advises against all travel to Ukraine
• Government of New Zealand: Do not travel to Ukraine

While we want to keep people informed about what is going on in the city of Kharkiv, we also want to make it perfectly clear that this is not a recommendation to visit Kharkiv. Do not travel here as a tourist. We can’t vouch for your safety. Just don’t do it.

However, if you find yourself already here, we are also working on a small Lifestyle category, which you can review over time to make your stay a little more comfortable.
